22 NRM01 TraMeXi Survey on dosimetry equipment used for calibration
purposes in medical X-ray imaging

  • Dear stakeholders,

This survey is initiated by the participants of the EURAMET project 22NRM01 TraMeXI:“ Traceability in Medical X-ray Imaging Dosimetry“. This research project will last 3 years from June 2023 with the aim to perform a critical assessment of conditions applied in calibrations of diagnostic dosimeters and multimeters compared to those used in clinical practice and study the performance of different dosimeters used at clinics. Updated measurement and calibration procedures will be proposed to International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for inclusion into relevant standards and protocols. The overall objective of the project is to harmonize and standardize calibration and measurement procedures to ensure traceability and accurate dosimetry in medical X-ray imaging within the target uncertainty of 7 % (k=2).

Here is a short questionnaire to help us in fulfilling this task. The purpose of this questionnaire is to identify the existing metrological capabilities related to dosimeters used in  medical X-ray imaging, the stakeholders and their needs. We would be pleased if you would be able to spend some time to answer these questions. The survey can be completed in 15 minutes, but more detailed answers will be appreciated.

Your response to the survey is voluntary. All responses will remain strictly confidential. The respondent’s personal identity and email are asked only to have the possibility to contact you for further questions if that is allowed by you. We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data from third parties in accordance with the Personal Data Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679). The data collected in the survey and the results of the survey are kept securely until the end of the project (May/2026). Please find more information about the project from our website: http://www.TraMeXI.com.

Mandatory questions are marked with a star (*). If you have more than one answer to a certain question, please select all that apply.
